Maybe you don't know what the six-times-book is. We will explain it and get you started on your way. Or maybe you know what it is, but you have problems keeping it consistently. We'll give you tips and different insights on how to fire up your motivation and stick with it.

THE TEACHERs
Venerable Sunam HLAMO
Venerable Sunam has been co-director of the Diamond Mountain Retreat Center in Arizona since 2019. She began studying and practicing the courses of the Asian Classics Institute in 2006, and founded denstiftverstehen.de, a group devoted to spreading the wisdom in German-speaking countries. For many years she has been translating the ACI Foundation Courses into German and has been teaching them in German and English-speaking countries since 2015.
She is a certified yoga trainer. She is also trained in the Diamond Cutter system and serves as an assistant professor at the Sedona College of International Management.
She has participated in almost all of Geshe Michael's Lam Rim series on-site since they began in 2012, and often translates them live in real time into German.
Before her ordination in 2016, Venerable Sunam was Dr. Brigitte Mayr, a licensed veterinarian. She now works as a successful IT project/program manager and database specialist for multi-million dollar international projects.
With the Buddhist principles she learned over the decades, she "created" two employers, who hired her part-time so she would have free time to study and teach the dharma, and still allowed her to hold responsible positions that used her skills and engaged her interest.
She applies Buddhist principles with enthusiasm and success in her projects and her life, and she has already inspired countless people through her passionate and joyful commitment. Venerable Sunam lives in Munich, Germany. She hopes to settle in Arizona in the near future.
Alix Rowland
Alix Rowland began her journey to the Asian classic texts through the door of yoga in 1994. Initially yoga was a way for her to maintain health and balance as a new mother, but yoga captured her heart and propelled her into a search for authentic meditation teachings. That search led to Geshe Michael Roache's Lam Rim teachings in Arizona in 2013 and subsequently to the 18 ACI Foundation Courses, which she studied intensively with her close teacher, three-year Diamond Mountain retreatant Lama Sarahni.
Alix is co-founder of Seeds of True Success, a training company that uses the seed system to achieve success in all areas of life. Her teaching style emphasizes how we can apply what we learn to create a better life for ourselves and others. She has completed twelve academic sessions at the Sedona College of International Management and is now an assistant professor at the college. She became certified to teach yoga through the Santa Barbara Yoga Center in 2002.
Alix is also a founding member of Team North Star, a real estate team consisting of four brokers within the Wells Group Real Estate Brokerage in Durango, CO. Mother of two grown children, she has over 25 years of business and real estate experience. Alix has taught the Seed System and yoga at international ACI events in Thailand and Indonesia and is currently writing a book about the benefits of profit-sharing in real estate. She lives in Durango, CO, with her partner Ben Gibson, two dogs, two horses and the cat, Earle the Grey.
