Welcome to Harmony for Health! 🌈

I wonder if this has been on your mind lately…

How do we keep our loved ones healthy and close to us?

Keep our precious teachers thriving and healthy?

Keep our world harmonious?

Harmony for Health

Harmony for Health is a an ACI | V Houses’ initiative inviting our global community to explore — in conscious and practical ways — why cultivating daily harmony within ourselves, and with those around us, is the foundation of our own health… the health of our families and communities… the health of our teachers… and the health of our world.

According to the ancient teachings, when we plant seeds of harmony in our daily interactions — through peaceful cooperation, joyful service, and having fun together while working toward shared goals — we shape the future reality we will experience.

As conflict softens and well-being increases within and around us, our commitment to planting seeds for harmony strengthens. And those habits become the causes for experiencing a more peaceful, healthy and harmonious world.

In the coming year, we look forward to serving you with special programs focused on:

Exploring practical ways to cultivate and increase harmony in our daily lives

01

Transforming the habits, reactions, and patterns that block harmony in our hearts

02
04

Strengthening conscious relationships through meaningful connection, shared goals, and joyful service

Keeping our precious teachers healthy and close — by honoring them through these actions and living the wisdom they have given us

03

Applying the teachings in real time — with simple, daily practices that strengthen well-being at home, at work, and in community

What can you do to get involved

Anyone who has studied ACI | V Houses’ teachings or other traditions knows different things to do, to make sure people are well and close to us. With ACI | V Houses, these practices can range from the Six Perfections to the Four Forces to the Four Steps.

ACI | V Houses’ exciting new program, Harmony for Health, is designed to help us focus on how doing even the smallest good deeds to enhance harmony will ensure—by the never-failing laws of karma—the best of good health for ourselves, our teachers, our loved ones, and the world as a whole.

Harmony for Health will focus on where in our lives we may be, however unknowingly, sowing tiny seeds of disharmony that prevent us from perceiving those we cherish around us as being in good health.

But did you know that the primary karmic correlation to see main reason to see health around you is harmony?

  • Karma is definite, meaning you don't get pineapples from an acorn seed;

  • Karma grows, meaning any tiny good thing you do leads to much bigger results of the same kind;

  • If you do the deed, you get the result, meaning if you are kind to others, you will experience much kindness in your future;

  • And if you don't do the deed, you don't get the result, meaning if you are not unkind to others, you will not receive unkindness back.

What you get:

✔ Bi-monthly sessions led by teachers, senior practitioners, and special guests. Drop in as you can! Each session is self-standing.

✔ Practice with specific harmony-creating tools and techniques that you can apply in daily life.

✔ Group meditations and recitation of targeted prayers, scripture, and mantras that can help heal the world.

✔ Interactive sessions for you to ask questions and discuss things with like-minded people.

✔ Short teachings from ancient sources to help us all open our eyes to ways we can clean up our hearts to create more harmony—and more health.

Harmony for Health provides an inspiring mix of new ways to think about creating additional harmony in ways big and small in our daily lives that are manageable and productive.

Pre-requisites

ACI 16, 17, 18 must be taken live online, or in-person from a teacher in order to get a certificate. Students must attend all sessions and keep their cameras on if attending online to receive the certificate.

To receive a certificate of completion for ACI 16, 17, or 18, students must hold certificates for the five Foundation Courses reviewed within each corresponding review course. This review program is designed to help students complete those Foundation Courses, step-by-step, throughout the 15-month study plan.

Everyone is welcome to attend these courses without prerequisites, but only students who meet the requirements will receive a certificate of completion for ACI 16, 17, or 18.

Meet the Teachers

Añjali Nicole Vigna

Añjali Nicole Vigna

In 2006, Añjali drove through a New York snowstorm to meet Geshe Michael Roach after her yoga teacher gave her The Essential Yoga Sutra. “Something made me get in my car and go out in a blizzard to a talk he was giving,” said Añjali, who was inspired that night to devote the next 20 years to study, practice, and service with Geshe Michael. She is a former board member of Asian Classics Institute and served as Sanskrit preservation manager for the Asian Legacy Library. Currently, Añjali works with and supports the development of Blue Sky Friends, an international nonprofit organization focused on providing educational classes, compassionate grief support, and ongoing prayers for those facing loss. She lives in Sedona, Arizona.

Christina Kasica

Christina became a Buddhist in 2009 and moved from Boston to Sedona, Arizona, to be near her teacher. She spent ten years in graduate school at Harvard (without completing her Ph.D), ten years in the technology industry helping start-ups go public and consulting for international technology market firms; and ten years in economic justice non-profits—reports she produced and co-authored were quoted on the floor of the U.S.Senate to help preserve equitable tax policies. Currently, she serves as editorial director at Asian Classics Institute, teaches Organic Sanskrit courses, and does everything she can to help spread these ancient teachings in the world. Christina has completed the 18 ACI Foundation Courses and is doing advanced study.

Laura Bordera

With a degree in tourism business management, Laura worked for several years in that field. During that time, she came to feel a deep calling to serve others. She subsequently trained and worked in elderly and disability care, grief counseling, and end-of-life support. A yoga instructor for over 20 years, she has volunteered in grief support organizations for five. Since 2020, Laura has been studying extensively and she joined the ACI |V Houses staff in 2024, where she works as translation and interpretation chief and also produces various ACI | V Houses programs and events throughout the year. Laura lives in Barcelona, Spain, with her husband and daughter.
