Janice Sanders
Janice first encountered Buddhism in August, 2011, in Prescott, Arizona, at an Asian Classics Institute (ACI) Lam Rim retreat. “I didn’t understand much, but I was curious. It was logical, I was hooked, and I wanted to learn more,” said Janice. It took a few years, but Janice completed the 18 ACI Foundation Courses and eventually became a certified ACI teacher.
She also discovered the Diamond Cutter Institute (DCI) at that time. Since then, she has attended 15 DCI teacher training levels at the Sedona College of International Management. There, she and others learned to teach students how to utilize the seed system to reach their goals.
At Lam Rim Course 15, she met her teacher, Lama Sarahni. Janice has continued to study with Lama Sarahni for the past eight years.
Janice resides high in the mountains in the very small town of Silverton, Colorado, USA. She moved to Silverton straight out of college to be a gold-mine geologist. While working there in the underground mining industry, she noted the town’s other booming industry–tourism. As gold prices dropped and mines began closing, she had already switched careers and opened two small retail stores. Since then she has opened 15 stores in southwest Colorado, all while raising two daughters and welcoming a recent granddaughter.
Janice uses Asian Classics Institute (ACI) wisdom along with the Diamond Cutter system to continue to plant seeds for success in her business and personal life. Her life goal is to teach as many people as possible the art of planting seeds so they can attain the lives of their dreams.
