Alix Rowland
Alix Rowland began her journey to the Asian classic texts through the door of yoga in 1994. Initially yoga was a way for her to maintain health and balance as a new mother, but yoga captured her heart and propelled her into a search for authentic meditation teachings. That search led to Geshe Michael Roache's Lam Rim teachings in Arizona in 2013 and subsequently to the 18 ACI Foundation Courses, which she studied intensively with her close teacher, three-year Diamond Mountain retreatant Lama Sarahni.
Alix is co-founder of Seeds of True Success, a training company that uses the seed system to achieve success in all areas of life. Her teaching style emphasizes how we can apply what we learn to create a better life for ourselves and others. She has completed twelve academic sessions at the Sedona College of International Management and is now an assistant professor at the college. She became certified to teach yoga through the Santa Barbara Yoga Center in 2002.
Alix is also a founding member of Team North Star, a real estate team consisting of four brokers within the Wells Group Real Estate Brokerage in Durango, CO. Mother of two grown children, she has over 25 years of business and real estate experience. Alix has taught the Seed System and yoga at international ACI events in Thailand and Indonesia and is currently writing a book about the benefits of profit-sharing in real estate. She lives in Durango, CO, with her partner Ben Gibson, two dogs, two horses and the cat, Earle the Grey.
