You are invited to participate in Asian Classics Institute's upcoming training for Teacher Assistants, to be held May 25-26.
Our teacher assistant trainings have been very successful, and we hope you will join us for the next round. 
Teacher Assistant Training 7 (TAT 7) will be held May 25-26, 2024, in multiple languages. The languages we offer will depend on which language groups register, so if you're interested, talk to your friends and sign up soon.

You need not have taken previous Teacher Assistant Trainings to participate.

Why become a Teacher Assistant Trainer?

The purpose of Teacher Assistant Trainings is to help prepare Teacher Assistants to support ACI certified teachers who train ACI students to become teachers. Our next teacher training will be ACI Teacher Training 7, starting June 21, 2024. So help us all get ready by signing up for TAT 7 today!



TAT 7 will specifically train you for leading groups during Teacher Training 7.


  • Become a study group leader 
  • Learn how to help their students go deeper and digest material better

  • Improve their ability to lead a group
  • Improve their ability to give feedback

  • Develop tools and knowledge helpful in becoming an ACI certified teacher

Here's how it works:

 After attending theory classes, participants in TAT 7 will work in small groups (5-10 people).  

Becoming a Teacher Assistant is a tremendous help to Asian Classics Institute teachers, who teach timeless wisdom for free to everyone. And becoming a Teacher Assistant is also very helpful to people who want to become ACI certified teachers themselves, because leading study groups is counted as part of your continuing education to graduate from certified lecturer to certified teacher. So please consider joining TAT 7 for these two important reasons, as well as the in-depth knowledge of content you will gain as you immerse yourself in ACI 7, our course on The Bodhisattva Vows.

Requirements:

  1. You must have completed five ACI courses with certificates. One of them must be ACI 7.

  2. You also need to have taken the bodhisattva vows in the form of an action (not in the form of a wish) at least six months before the start of TAT 7. The Teacher Assistant Training course will be teaching us about the vows and how to practice and teach them, so you need to have this experience to lead a group.
